Govt urged to settle power problem of Jagti township

JAMMU, Mar 23: A meeting was held by Voice of KPs at Jagti under the chairmanship of Roshan Lal Raina Member Apex Committee to Government in which the Government was urged to redress the power problem of the Jagti township and also issue NOCs to migrant employees living in TRTs.
Addressing the meeting Vinod Tickoo Core Group member of the organization urged the Government to frame an open policy regarding supply of electricity to inmates of TRTs.
Expressing concern over patch work on the Jagti township road from Kandoli Mata temple despite the instruction of Minister regarding total renovation of the road, it demanded that the road be fully renovated and issue be also settled with Army.
The meeting urged the Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner R K Pandita to expedite the process of issuance of PRCs to migrants as the process has been stopped for over last two months. It also demanded release of arrears of relief without further delay.
