Nodal Officer appointed for saturating villages with Govt schemes

JAMMU, Jan 11: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has appointed a Nodal Officer and Additional Nodal Officer for saturating border villages with 100 percent coverage of Government welfare schemes and ensuring the provision of basic services.
Principal Secretary, Planning, Development & Monitoring Department has been appointed as the Nodal Officer while the Commissioner Secretary Social Welfare Department is the Additional Nodal Officer for the saturating border villages. They will l ensure the provision of basic services viz; health, education, electricity, drinking water etc, on developmental front in the border districts viz; Bandipora, Baramulla, Kupwara, Poonch and Rajouri.
The Nodal Officer shall submit a monthly village wise progress report on all important parameters to the Government by 7th of each month.
