POONCH, Mar 23: The police arrested 8th class student for the stealing and leakage of question papers of Board examinations from Govt High School, Magnad in Poonch district.
The accused has been identified as 13-year old Jehangir, student of 8th class of the same school. The boy admitted that when the teachers were sitting in the Sun outside, he quietly entered the staff room and stolen papers of English, Hindi, Urdu and Science and then shared with another student Ravinder Singh and others.
The State Board had cancelled these papers after the matter came to its notice. It happened on February 21, 2013 and later an FIR No. 22/ 2013 was lodged with Poonch police in this connection. Two teachers were placed under suspension in this connection.
Meanwhile, Poonch police also recovered a bike which had been stolen from a locality in the town on March 16. One Zulfiqar was apprehended in this connection.
