JAMMU, Jan 14: Seeking implementation of the Supreme Court direction, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has demanded that internet services must be restored across J&K without any further delay.
PDP senior leader Hameed Choudhary, while welcoming the SC observation on restoration of internet services in J&K, highlighted how the internet gag has been wrecking havoc upon the business establishments, students and journalists in Jammu and Kashmir at large.
He added that the tourist arrival also has been witnessing a dreadful dip due to the suspension of internet and the journalistic fraternity too is bearing the brunt of this Government decision since August 5. Choudhary hoped that the Government will implement top court’s directions without further delay so that the perturbed people of Jammu and Kashmir could heave a sigh of relief.
The PDP leader further reiterated the demand of the release of all political leadership in Jammu and Kashmir and has pitched for the restoration of the political activities at an earliest.
