UDHAMPUR, Jan 18: A electric shop at Chenani Bus Stand market caught fire this morning, resulting the costly material lying inside turned into ashes.
However, the cause of the fire is yet not known but after the broke out of the fire, a panic gripped the entire market and all the shopkeepers and people ran towards the shop to put off the fire.
Locals poured water with buckets on the fire to prevent it from further spreading to nearby shops. With the strenuous efforts of the people, managed to control the fire after an hour.
The shopkeeper Rohit Sharma informed the police regarding fire caught a electric shop in the Chenani Bus Stand market. Thereafter the Police and fire tender reached the spot. The police has registered a case and started the investigation into the matter.
