Jammu, Jan 21: With a view to educate the customers regarding various banking services and digital products offered by it, J&K Bank conducted a customer education camp at Business Unit (BU) Lakhdata Bazar, here.
The camp was attended by the bank’s valuable customers, prominent traders and businessmen of the area, senior citizens and other residents.
The BU Lakhdata Bazar organized the camp in collaboration with Digital Strategy and Marketing (DS&M) Department of Zonal Office Jammu (Central I) and a team from the bank’s wholly owned subsidiary-JKB Financial Services Limited (JKB FSL).
On the occasion, the officers from the DS&M Department educated the participants about the benefits of digital banking and cash-less economy. The team elaborated upon the digital platforms available in the bank such as Debit cards, Credit Cards, Net Banking, Mobile Banking Services, IMPS, BHIM UPI, and POS etc. Measures regarding prevention of various frauds related to digital banking and conducting secure online transactions were also discussed on the occasion.
The team gave a detailed presentation about various lending schemes offered by the bank such as Kissan Credit Card, Tractor Loan, Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojna, Car loan, Education loan etc., which are available on easy EMIs and wherein rates of interest charged by the bank are quite competitive besides expounding on the benefits of availing social security schemes such as Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY), Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY) and Atal Pension Yojana (APY).
Acquainting the customers with various financial services offered by the bank’s wholly owned subsidiary, the officials from JKB FSL explained in detail regarding the specialized services and products including demat accounts, share trading, mutual funds etc. offered by the bank’s subsidiary.
Thanking the participants for sparing their valuable time, the Head BU Lakhdata Bazar Shweta Gupta concluded the camp by presenting a vote of thanks.
