KATRA, Jan 24: In view of coming Republic day 2020, a detailed security review was held at Katra and Bhawan by DIG Udhampur-Reasi Range Sujit Kumar Singh along with Commandant 6 BN CRPF Jatinder Gupta, Additional SP Naresh Singh, SDPO Katra Vivek Shekhar and other officers of Army, CID and Security wing.
Various issues related to the security of holy shrine were discussed in the meeting.
Later, on ground inspection of deployment was made by the officers.
Officers deployed on ground were briefed by the DIG to remain fully alert and take all the security measures to maintain security of the shrine. Help of local public of Katra town was also sought during the visit.
