SRINAGAR, Jan 25: Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) today urged the Union Territory (UT) administration to revisit the policy of release of members of the civil society, business community, eminent lawyers, political, religious leaders and youths kept under preventive detention since the first week of August, 2019.
A spokesperson of the KCCI in a statement issued here, today stated that in the interaction with the Lt. Governor, G C Murmu on January 2 the representatives of the business fraternity had unanimously urged for the release of all detained persons and had received positive assurances in this regard from him.
