KATHUA, Jan 27: Rich tributes were paid to Martyr Capt Sunil Choudhary on his martyrdom day today. In this connection a tribute ceremony was arranged at Capt Sunil Choudhary Chowk here. On the occasion, SSP Kathua, Sridhar Patil, Army officers, family members of martyr, Sunil Choudhary and number of prominent citizens and Ex-Servicemen paid floral tribute to him.
The Army personnel also paid honor in the respect of martyr. They included Col PL Choudhary,  father of martyr. He said “my son has scarified his life for the sake of country while fighting with militants in Aasam on 27 January 2008’’. He said his sacrifice becomes role model for young generation.
While paying tributes to martyr SP Kathua, Sridhar Patil said that martyr Capt Sunil Choudhary was brave soldier of Kathua district. He said that such functions will motivate the youth towards patriotism and inspire them to work for building the nation. Talking about militancy in J&K, he added that the enthusiasm of our jawans is higher then the evil design of militants. He said that our security agencies in coordination with each other are fighting the militancy with great valor and dedication.
