POONCH, Jan 29: Two buffaloes were charred to death and a woman sustained minor burn injures as a cattle-shed caught fire at village Nakka Majari in Gursai area of Mendhar Sub Division in district Poonch this evening.
Reports said the cattle-shed of one Mohd Sharief suddenly caught fire this evening. While four other cattle were rescued by the family, two buffaloes were charred to death on the spot. The wife of Mohd Sharief sustained burn injuries during rescue operation and was later hospitalised. Short-circuit was believed to be the cause behind the fire incident. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
