RAJOURI, Mar 25: The police arrested a youth and recovered the kidnapped girl from Katra area today.
The police party led by SHO Sunderbani D S Katoch, on the directions of SP Nowshera P L Sharma recovered the kidnapped 10th class student Jyoti (15) of Beri Pattan from Katra area and arrested her kidnapper, Raman Kumar ( Matador conductor), son of Vijay Kumar, resident of Seri village. The girl was kidnapped two days back when she was returning from school.
Her parents came to know about the matter and lodged an FIR with the Sunderbani police. The girl after medical examination was handed over to the family. A case has been registered in this connection.
