Public alleges shortage of staff at HSS Pancheri

UDHAMPUR, Jan 31: The residents of Pancheri Tehsil today demanded that shortage of staff be removed in Model Govt Higher Secondary School, Pancheri.
In a memorandum submitted to the K K Sharma, Advisor to Lt. Governor, through DC Udhampur today, a delegation from the area alleged that more than half dozen posts of Lecturers were lying vacant in this Model Higher Secondary School.
The deputation led by Jaswant Singh, Block president NC and comprising Khushal -Sarpanch Panjar, Kunj Lal -Sarpanch Laddha and PN Bhagat along with local people of the Panchari block, further submitted that that this school was upgraded in 1985. Due to shortage of staff, the students are facing lot of problems.
They pointed out that posts of Lecturers in Chemistry, History, Physical Education, Education, Zoology and Political Science were lying vacant for the last several years. Over 600 students of this remote school have been left to suffer.
