JAMMU, Feb 2: Bhatindi Police arrested a drug peddler and recovered cannabis from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Bhatindi Police Post laid a naka and intercepted a motorcycle.
During checking, police team recovered 200 grams cannabis from the possession of the rider and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Mohammad Shabir, son of Ali Mohammad, a resident of District Ramban.
A case under relevant sections has been registered at Bahu Fort Police Station and investigation started to ascertain the source of the consignment.
