Srinagar, Feb 6: Srinagar Development Authority (SDA) today asked people not to indulge in the encroachment of the SDA land anywhere or face action.
The statement issued by the Authority said that the SDA is informing the people not to indulge in illegal constructions on the Authority’s land.
The Authority said that it has been carrying out special demolition drive to keep a check on the encroachment of the land.
“In this regard, the SDA conducted and carried out demolition drive at various places under their jurisdiction. The SDA carried out a drive against the encroachers at Mansoor Colony Bemina and removed illegal constructions raised at different plots and strips,” it said.
The demolition drive was successfully executed despite huge resentment on the sites. In addition to that the drive was also carried out against the street vendors who were operating their business illegally along the roadside within the limits of SDA.
