JAMMU, Mar 26: On the call of All India Regional Rural Bank Employees Association, J&K Grameen Bank Officers Association has announced to go on strike on March 30.
The call for strike has been given for highlighting the demands, such as regularization of part time and daily waged workers in RRBs, withdrawal of Government order on HR, representation of workman and officers in the Board of Management and parity of pension.
AIRRBEA has also been demanding constitution of National Rural Bank of India with State level RRB under it with the amalgamation of all the RRBs, exclusively for rural and agricultural credit on delinking of RRBs from Sponsor Banks.
