ANANTNAG, Feb 8: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Anantnag, Khalid Jahangir convened a meeting of the Officers and Engineers of various departments to review the progress registered under CAPEX Budget 2019 – 20, here today.
The meeting was informed that under UT revised District CAPEX Budget 2019 – 2020, an amount of Rs 119.61 cr has been spent out of a released amount of Rs156.50 cr so far in the district.
The DDC urged the officers to speed up the pace of work and complete all the works both financially and physically within the stipulated timeframe and ensure transparency in execution of works on ground.
The DDC took sector wise review of projects undertaken by different departments and agencies under District CAPEX Budget 2019 – 2020 allocation including Rural Development Department, R&B, Health, PDD, Education, Sheep & Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, NRLM, Forest, Social forestry, ULB, YSS, Soil Conservation and other departments.
