Ganesh Mandir Samiti warns land grabbers

JAMMU, Mar 26: Ganesh Mandir Prabhandak Samiti Ganpatyar Srinagar has warned the people trying to grab the land of the Ganesh Mandir and Shiv Ji Mandir at Shalamar in Srinagar district of Kashmir valley.
In its meeting here today held under the chairmanship of Moti Lal Koul its president, the Samiti said that the said land is the property the two shrines which are looked after by the Samiti.
It said presently the land is being looked after by one Mohammed Iqbal Bhat of Bani Bagh Shalamar on behalf of the Samiti which is its main custodian since inception.
The meeting said the tress passers will be dealt under law as Samiti will not allow any one to grab or sell the land.
It said the duly elected Samiti has H N Jatu, G L Daftri, J L Shah, Vijay Miskeen, J L Kaul, Ravi Handoo, Raj Kumar Sharma, Rajinder Raina, B L Saraf,  Pran Ji Handoo and others as its Executive members.
