JAMMU, Feb 8: Shri Ranbireshwar Mandir Welfare Committee (SRMWC) in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir Dharmarth Trust will organise Shiv Barat (Shoba Yatra) on February 20 on the eve of Maha Shivratri festival.

While interacting with media persons, Mahant Ranbireshwar temple, Rishi Ban announced that the shoba yatra will start from the temple at 3 PM and will pass through all main bazaars of the Old city like City Chowk, Indira Chowk, Hari Market, Raghunath Bazar Chowk, Old Hospital Road, Purani Mandi, Link Road, Jain Bazar, Pacca Danga, Moti Bazaar, Parade Chowk and will culminate at Ranbireshwar Temple.
Some religious organisations and renowned artists will also performed cultural programmes on this occasion.
Meanwhile, on February 21, the committee will also organise a free medical camp with the cooperation of Indian System of Medicines.
Mahant of the temple appealed all the religious minded people trade organisations and general public to take part in both the functions.
President, Onkar Sharma, Vice Presidents Raj Kumar Gupta, Amit Gupta, Rajinder Vijay Magotra and Advocate Jyoti Sarup Misra (Spokesperson and Legal advisor) were also presented on the occasion.
