Man critically injured in leopard attack

RAMBAN, Feb 9: A 29-year-old man was critically injured in leopard attack at village Sawni, falling under the jurisdiction of Chanderkot Police Station.
As per police sources, a man identified as Gulzar Ahmed, son of Azeem Ahmed was grazing his sheep and goats near his house at village Sawni Chanderkot, when leopard attacked him.
Hearing his shrieks when the family members and villagers reached the spot with sticks, the leopard escaped in the jungle leaving the man in the pool of blood.
The profusely bleeding man was rushed to District Hospital Ramban, where he was undergoing treatment when last reports came in.
Cognizance has been taken by Chanderkot Police in this regard.
