JAMMU, Mar 26: State Cabinet, which met here this evening, accorded sanction to the promotion of 15 officers.
Ghulam Nabi Sufi, Sheikh Mushtaq Ahmad, Abdul Rashid Mir and Vineeta Gupta have been promoted to the Super Time Scale of KAS with effect from November 20, 2007.
Mohammad Yusuf Dar, Saleem Mohammad, Hemant Kumar Sharma, Bashrat Saleem, Mehraj-ud-Din Kenu and Gulzar Ahmad Qureshi have been promoted to Super Time Scale with effect from March 12, 2013.
Four officers belonging to Jammu and Kashmir Tourism (G) Services (KAS) have been promoted to Time Scale of J&K Administrative Service. These are Abid Maqbool Bhat, Malik Zada-Shera-ul- Haq, Dr Subash Chander and Mohammad Maqbool Bhat.
Abdul Hafiz Shah, Deputy Director Information (Central) has also been promoted to the Time Scale of KAs on notional basis.
