JAMMU, Feb 12: The protest of Jammu and Kashmir Bank Khidmat Centre today entered 52nd day, demanding job policy.
They were protesting for the last 52 days at Press Club Jammu under the leadership of its association President, Tehseen Hussain Mugloo and alleged that they were demanding job policy for last 10 years but the authority concerned has utterly failed to do so.
“We had a meeting with the Chairman J&K Bank in the month of May 2019 and we were assured a job policy within a shortest time would be framed but ironically nine months have been lapsed since the commitment but nothing happened so far regarding the job policy”, Mugloo said.
They alleged that now, the Bank had devised a new modus operandi and started threatening and harassing of the protestors to derail the ongoing protest here. They even detained few of our participants yesterday and got released in the late evening, but we wanted to make a clear message to the Government and Bank’s administration as well that we would not diverted from the track which we have chosen until we get anything in written.
