JAMMU, Feb 13: Kanachak police arrested a motorcyclist and recovered large quantity of illicit liquor from his possession.
As per police sources, during checking, a team from Kanachak Police Station led by HC Kewal Krishan intercepted a motorcycle bearing registration number JK02BT-9151.
During checking, police team recovered 82 bottles of illicit liquor fromthe possession of the rider and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Raj Kumar, son of Mela Ram, a resident of Halqa Kullay.
A case under FIR Number 22/2020 under section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Kanachack and investigation started.
The arrest was made under the supervision of SHO Kanachak under the supervision SDPO Domana Kosheen Koul and SP Rural Jammu Suram Singh.
