UDHAMPUR, Feb 14: Inner Wheel Club Udhampur, women wing of Rotary International Club, today distributed shoes, socks and study material to the students of Government High School Ladden.
On this occasion, District Editor of Rotary Club and Councilor Preeti Khajuria delivered an awareness lecture on cleanliness and avoiding the use of plastic. She stressed to use Jute bags instead of plastic bags and stressed to adopt `clean your surroundings’ as moral duty.
A two minute silence was also observed in the memory of martyrs of Pulwama. President Inner Wheel Club Anu Senson said that the Club has pledged to serve the society.
Headmaster of the school, Varinder Kumar thanked the kind assistance provided by the Inner Wheel Club. Neelam Baigra, Sandya, Mohini, Renu, Manju Baru, Usha Kiran, Nisha Sharma and Reeta Gupta, members of the Inner Wheel Club, were also present on the occasion.
