JAMMU, Mar 28: Chairman, Legislative Council, Amrit Malhotra today administered oath to Syed Naeem Akhtar Indrabi of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) as Member of the House. Mr Naeem and Mr Yashpaul were earlier elected on 7th of this month as members.
Earlier, on 18th of this month, one Member of the PDP, Yashpaul Sharma was administrated oath along with other six members of National Conference and Congress parties.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chairman hoped that the member would play his role in highlighting the public interest issues in the House besides working for upholding the sanctity and dignity of the House.
Legislators, Nizam-ud-Din Bhat, Pir Mansoor Hussain, Secretary, Legislative Council, Mohammad Ashraf Mir were present on the occasion.
