RAJOURI, Feb 16: The police has recovered a minor girl, hailing from Thannamandi area of Rajouri, from Pune in Maharashtra.
A poloice spokesman said that a case FIR No. 257/2019 U/S 363 IPC, 8 POSCO Act was registered at Police Station Thannamandi, Rajouri on the complaint from father of the minor girl (name with held) on December 18, 2019 .
A special police team was constituted under the supervision of SDPO, Sajjad Khan by SSP Rajouri, Chandan Kohli on 14 February the police rescued the minor girl and arrested the accused Mohd Riaz, son of Mohd Alam, resident of Kalakot and after medical examination the minor girl has been handed over to her parents.
