LEH, Feb, 18: Terming it as very unfortunate on the part of BJP, District Congress Committee (DCC) blamed BJP Leh president Dorjay Angchuk for misusing LBA platform to highlight BJP achievements rather than it actually meant to demand constitutional safeguards for Ladakh region.

Addressing a press conference here today, DCC president for Leh Tsering Namgyal said that BJP had fully used the LBA platform to do its campaign. They tried to fully mislead the innocent people of Ladakh for their vested interests. He warned that this should not happen in future.
Namgyal further said that it was decided by all religious and political parties to stick to the common demand of constitutional safeguard to which Congress Party stick to it otherwise, Congress too, have many things to highlight.
He said that BJP tries to misled the public about safeguard to Ladakh and nothing suits to Ladakh except 6th Schedule to which everyone supported including Minority Commission for ST/SC and Union Tribal Ministry.
