In a press statement here Sharma said that SRO-202 which was brought by BJP- PDP Govt when late Mufti Mohammad Syed was the Chief Minister of the erstwhile state, which states that the new entrants in the Government departments will have to stay under probation for initial 5 years before being confirmed as permanent employees, and termed it as anti-Youth policy in the state named SRO 202 which has put the youth into mental trauma.
He further stated that as per the SRO-202, the new Government employees will not be granted allowances like House Rent Allowance (HRA), Dearness Allowance (DA), Transport Allowance (TA) etc given to the all other employees as per the service rules.
Manohar further said that every youth recruited under this policy is not at mental peace as they are devoid of their right to have a dignified life, a dignified job and a dignified reputation. This is affecting their performance and their career harshly. Congress leader appealed the LG Administration to revoke this draconian SRO.
