JAMMU, Mar 28: A motorcyclist was killed while a pillion rider was critically injured when their two-wheeler skidded off the road in New Plot, during Holi festival celebrations.
As per reports, two motorcycle-borne youths yesterday received fatal injuries when their bike slipped in New Plot area.
The duo were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where doctors pronounced one of them as brought dead, while the condition of the other was critical, when last reports came in.
The deceased was identified as 19-year-old Dheeraj, son of Kuldeep Singh, resident of Mohalla Afghana, while the injured has been identified as 18-year-old Sohit, son of Varinderjeet, resident of Dogra hall.
A case has been registered and investigation started.
