JAMMU, Mar 28: A woman allegedly committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at her residence.
As per reports, Lella Devi, wife of Mohan Lal of Kalakote, allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at her home yesterday.
Noticing her unconscious, family members shifted her to nearby hospital and was later referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where she failed to respond to the treatment and breathed her last today.
A case has been registered and investigation started to ascertain the reason behind such extreme step.
