VIJAYPUR, Feb 20: Urging upon the people to support the Panthers Party in its crusade for Justice to Jammu region, Harsh Dev Singh JKNPP Chairman and former Minister said that there was a nationwide trend to strengthen the regional parties in local polls.
He said that people across the country were fast realizing the fact that regional parties alone could meet the public expectations at local level and mitigate their sufferings.
“The national level parties had failed to dispense Justice at the grass root level,” he claimed.
“The spectacular victory of AAP in Delhi elections was a moment of re-defining Indian politics and re-inventing democracy wherein the regional parties had come in prominence in State elections. Likewise the emergence of TRS, Shiv Sena, MNF, JMM others was an eye-opener for a narcissistically pleased and highly ascendant BJP which had been largely intoxicated with power and guided by sole agenda of capturing power even at the cost of its own manifesto,” said Singh.
He was addressing public meetings in Swankha and Sujadpur villages of Vijaypur constituency today alongwith Ex-Minister and Young Panthers State President, Yash Paul Kundal.
Harsh said that JKNPP had proved time and again that it alone could navigate the people of Jammu region who stood cheated and betrayed by the BJP.
Urging upon the people to strengthen JKNPP, he said that Panthers Party will continue to fight for the cause of poor and marginalized sections of society who had been utterly disillusioned with the BJP’s politics of deceit and treachery.
“The BJP gave nothing to people of Jammu except Toll Plazas,” asserted Singh.
“The AAP delivered on the ground and got re-elected. The NPP can assure you of still better performance. We can outperform the AAP in governance if given a chance in J&K,” Singh claimed.
Prominent among those who spoke on the occasion included Parshotam Parihar, Yash Paul Sharma, Bishan Dass, Mohinder Singh, Vishab Singh, Capt Sultan Singh, Rakesh Verma, Dr Tej Ram and Amarjeet Singh.
