JAMMU, Feb 20: University of Jammu’s Non-Teaching Employees Union (JUNTEU) here today celebrated Annual Day 2020 for the Non-Teaching staff of the varsity.
The function was presided over by Prof. Manoj Dhar, Vice Chancellor of University of Jammu who complimented the non-teaching staff for exhibiting talent through cultural items presented at the function. Prof Rajni Dhingra was the guest of honour.
The programme started with presentation of ‘Kulgeet’ of the varsity followed by lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the chief guest and other dignitaries and this was followed by playing of National Anthem.
Saraswati Vandana was also recited by the non-teaching staff after which a number of colourful cultural items were performed.
Earlier, Pawan Singh Bhau, President JUNTEU delivered welcome address and President KUMSA Qazi Zeelani also address the gathering.
Sham Lal Sharma, General Secretary of the Union presented formal vote of thanks.
