NPP announces new committees

JAMMU, Feb 25: Panthers Party today announced new committees in its Working Committee meet held under the chairmanship of Harsh Dev Singh, party chairman and former Minister today to chalk out the future course of action in the wake of increased role of regional parties in the political landscape across the Nation.
The meeting was attended and addressed by Balwant Singh Mankotia, State president, Yash Paul Kundal State president-Young Panthers and various other leaders. Various committees were constituted to interact with different trade unions, farmers groups, studentS and unemployed youth bodies, employees associations and various social organizations and civil society members.
The NPP Working Committee announced Yash Paul Kundal as the chairman of Committee to offer all possible support to daily wagers agitating for their rights and assuring regularization of the services of 62,000 DRWs of various Govt departments if NPP was voted to power.
Another committee under Balwant Singh Mankotia was constituted to interact with VDCs and SPOs and to explore the ways and means to get their legitimate demands fulfilled. Capt Anil Gour was made the Incharge of the committee to examine the issues of traders, Rehri Phari walas and to ensure the projection of their genuine concerns.
Rajesh Padgotra was nominated to chair the committee over the issues of Auto and Matadoor Unions, Tractor Trolley Unions and to hold regular interactions with them so as to address their concerns. Gagan Pratap Singh was declared as Chairman of the Committee entrusted with the issues of unemployed youth, contractual academic arrangement consolidated/adhoc employees of various Govt departments. Surinder Chouhan was entrusted with the responsibility of Liasoning with the farmers and highlighting their concerns.  Robin Sharma was appointed head of the Committee on issues of Border dwellers, Vinod Singh Jamwal was announced as Chairman of the publicity committee, while Harsh Dev Singh would be hold interactions with academicians, intellectuals and other members of civil society for realizing the aspirations of the people.
