SRINAGAR, Mar 29: J&K Bank organized a ‘Loan Mela’ in Arizal area of district Budgam, wherein solar lighting and photo-voltaic systems were distributed among the beneficiaries.
Cluster Head Budgam Mohammad Ayoub Wanchoo distributed the lighting systems under JK Bank Solar Lighting & Photo Voltaic Finance among the beneficiaries, especially those belonging to un-electrified areas like Kharian and Ringzabal.
The function was conducted by the Bank’s business unit at Arizal, which extended home lighting system to 156 beneficiaries under JNNSM with a total loan outlay of over Rs 60 Lacs attracting a subsidy of 40 percent from Ministry of Natural Renewable Energy (MNRE).
Meanwhile, the Bank’s Marketing Division, Kashmir Central took part in the 3-day ‘Employment Fair’ organised by the Directorate of Employment and Counseling Centre Srinagar at Government Degree College, Bemina in which banks, Government and Non-Government institutions participated.
