JAMMU, Feb 26: On the directions of DC Sushma Chouhan, a joint team from different departments carried out anti-encroachment drive in Prem Nagar area.
As per official spokesman, a joint team of Revenue Department, Traffic Police Department, JMC and district administration, an anti-encroachment carried out in Prem Nagar area.
“During the drive, the encroached footpaths were cleared and some concrete structures were demolished. Vehicles parked in no parking zones were also lifted”, the spokesman added.
The drive was carried out under the supervision of ACR Jammu Vijay Sharma.
Police team also assisted the joint team during anti-encroachment drive.
The spokesman informed that a monthly schedule has been made to carry out anti-encroachment drives, adding that tomorrow the drive will be carried out in Canal Road and Bakshi Nagar areas.
