SAMBA, Feb 27: District police Samba has detained a notorious criminal who is also a history sheeter under 110 Cr.PC for his repeated involvement in unlawful activities on the detention orders issued by the EMIC Bari Brahmana.
The accused namely Yograj Singh alias Jagga S/o Hardev Singh is a resident of Smailpur, Bari Brahmana and has been involved in a number of criminal cases registered against him at P/S Bari Brahmana and at various police stations of district Jammu.
An FIR No. 51/2015 U/S 341/325/506 RPC and 4/25A Act FIR No. 36/2016 U/S 307/323/34 RPC and 4/25A Act FIR No. 138/2017 U/S 307 RPC Act have been registered against him in PS, Bari Brahmana.
FIR No. 29/2012 U/S 307/323/34 RPC and 4/25A Act have been registered against him in PS Mira Sahib, Jammu and FIR No. 15/2017 U/S 307 RPC and 4/25A Act has been registered against him in PS, Bus Stand, Jammu.
The accused was produced before Executive Magistrate, Bari-Brahmana by the police team of PS Bari Brahmana who ordered his detention and the accused was later on lodged in Sub-Jail Hiranagar.
The arrest was made by a team of Bari Brahmana Police under the overall supervision of SSP Samba, Shakti Pathak and direct supervision Additional SP Samba Faisal Qureshi.
