REASI, Feb 27: The shooting of DD Kashir Hindi serial “Roshni”, being produced by Anuj Agarwal under the banner A P Productions- a Delhi based production house, was formally inaugurated by Dr Anirudh Rai, ACD Reasi, here today at Ser Sundwan in district Reasi.
Tehsildar Bhomag Akasha Rajan, Sarpanch Ser Sundwan Amar Nath, Ashok Thakur BDC Bhomag, Surita Devi Punch Ward No.2, Naseeb Singh and Mukhar Singh, local artist from Ser Sundwan were present on the occasion.
The serial “Roshni” is being directed by Hera Mani Singh and Sachin Dhar. Raja Aamir Khan will be the area assistant director, Manik Koul is the director of Photography. The director of the serial said 50 percent artist in this serial are from Reasi, who include Shadab Khan, Rohit Kumar, Anil Kumar, Dharminder Rathore, M Akram Khan, Neeraj Kesar, Shubam Sahwany, Raja Aamir Khan, Pallvi Rajput, Reshav Banathia, Pankaj Sharma, Rajat Sharma, Inder, Jeet Singh, Sarita Devi, Pallvi Lakhnotra, Swati Sharma and Lucky Dogra. All of them are associated with Abhinaya Kala Manch Reasi.
The artist from Jammu are also acting in this serial and they include J R Sagar, Sandeep Verma, Lalta Tapasvi, Saras Bharti, Ritu Mehra and others. Before shooting schedule, director of the serial visited the location along with team members and said that the makers decided to shoot the serial in far flung areas. Ser Sundwan is a beautiful location for shoot the serials and films also, said the director.
They revealed that the serial is based on youth, who have grown up in this adverse environment and have faced tremendous stress. “They have the capacities and capabilities of bringing positive changes in the working system. However, in the present scenario, what they need is right direction that helps them to identify their strength and understand the vision,” they added.
