REASI, Feb 28: Safai Karamcharis under the banner of Akhil Bhartiya Safai Mazdoor Sangh today started their indefinite protest for redressal of their long pending demands.
A large number of Safai Karamcharis this morning assembled in front of the office of Municipal Committee Reasi and held protest amidst raising of slogans in favour of their long pending demands.
They said that the higher authorities were not considering their long pending demands for which they had given notices to the Government and administration time and again.
Pinka Sandhu, president of Akhil Bhartiya Safai Mazdoor Sangh, district Reasi, highlighted the long pending demands of Safai Karamcharis, which include regularization of those who have completed seven years of service , new recruitment etc. He warned the administration that strike will continuing till their demands are fulfilled.
