UDHAMPUR, Mar 1: Monthly meeting of Jammu Kashmir SSRB Teacher/Master Association was held here today under the chairmanship of State President Rakesh Singh and general secretary Vikram Gupta to discuss the burning issues of teaching community.
Singh said that promotion list of Teachers to Master has not been issued from last six years which is great injustice not only with teachers but also with Govt school students as many Master grade posts are lying vacant in schools thus adversely affecting the smooth functioning of schools. He urged Commissioner Secretary of School Education Department to look personally into the matter to issue the promotion list of Master grade within 3 months.
Singh also demanded to exclude all such Teachers from promotion list who are at present adjusted against supernumerary post.
The meet also demanded transfers as per the policy, revocation of SRO-202 and increase in Medical Allowance and creation of Teachers Welfare Fund.
