JAMMU, Mar 4: For effective Coronavirus control efforts in the Union Territory of J&K, the Government today assigned the charge of Apex Level, Divisional Level and District Level officers.
Bhupinder Kumar, Mission director NHM, shall be the overall Incharge at the UT level and shall work under the supervision of Financial Commissioner, Health & Medical Education Department, J&K. Dr Shafqat Khan, designated Nodal Officer, shall work under the supervision of Bhupinder Kumar.
At the Divisional Level, respective Divisional Commissioners shall be the overall incharge of Coronavirus control efforts who shall be assisted by the respective Directors of Health services.
At the District Level, concerned Deputy Commissioners shall be the Incharge of Corona virus control efforts and shall be assisted by the respective Chief Medical Officers.
The designated officers shall ensure detection at the Airports/Railway stations and other entry points besides creation of adequate quarantine, isolation and other requisite facilities.
