NEW DELHI, Mar 6: Senior BJP leader and a Kashmir watcher since decades, who initiated Sindhu Festival in Ladakh, Tarun Vijay today called on Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.
It was a courtesy call, during which Tarun Vijay presented Rajnath Singh a portrait of the great Naval Emperor Rajendra Chola who had defeated the enemies with full force uptill East Asia .
Tarun Vijay is former MP and Chairman Uttarakhand War Memorial Shaurya Sthal. He said he has full faith that the defence forces will annihilate the enemies of the country with same zeal and decisiveness like Rajendra Chola.
Tarun Vijay has been trying to have the Uttarakhand War Memorial inaugurated sooner, that was initiated with Bhumi Pujan by Late Manohar Parrikar at Dehradun. Tarun Vijay is the first MP in India having donated Rs 2.5 crores from his MPLADS funds for the Uttarakhand’s first war memorial.
