KISHTWAR, Mar 7: Police suspended an Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI), Abdul Subhan and lodged an FIR against him at a police station, here for demanding bribe.
As per the police, yesterday (March 6) a video went viral on the social media in which ASI, Abdul Subhan posted at police station Kishtwar was found demanding and accepting bribe from some persons within the premises of the police station.
Taking serious note of the erring officer, a case FIR No. 38/2020 under the Section 7 of Prevention of Corruption Act has been registered at police station Kishtwar and departmental inquiry has also been initiated against him.
