JAMMU, Mar 7: Jammu Rural Police has arrested two drug peddlers at Karloop Morh under the jurisdiction of Kanachak Police Station today. The arrests were made by ASI, Sanjeet Singh. The arrested persons were named as Kali Dass, S/o late Sarban Dass of Kalyan and Sohan Lal S/o Rashpaul Chand of Galwaday Chak Gajansoo and recovered 343 capsule and 295 tablets of intoxicated drugs from their possession.
The police team was led by SHO Kanachak, Ravi Parihar under the supervision of SDPO Domana, Kosheen Koul and SP Rural, Suram Singh.
The Jammu Rural Police has launched a continuous drive against the drug peddlers, gamblers and liquor smugglers in the area. The police has asked the people to share the information about such people with it to eradicate the crime from the society. The police has promised that the identity of such people will be kept a secret.
