Hygiene education in schools demanded

JAMMU, Mar 11: National Democratic Party Indian (NDPI) today held a workers meet here.
Addressing the workers Rajesh Gupta, NDPI President J&K UT stressed on the importance of community participation to educate hygiene.
He said that there is no need to be scared of Coronavirus as fear is the deadliest virus.
“Our bodies have good immune system. The 2003 SARS epidemic spread to 29 countries across the world killed a thousand people but there were only three causalities in India,” he said.
Gupta urged the Lieutenant Governor, Girish Chandra Murmu to introduce hygiene education in schools.
He said the improvement of water supply, sanitation, and hygiene should be seen as part of an overall process of community development.
