SRINAGAR, Mar 11: Administration today invoked Public Safety Act, against younger brother of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front founder Muhammad Maqbool Bhat.
Zahoor Ahmad Bhat, a resident of village was brought from Rajasthan jail on February 12 and since then he was lodged in Sub-Jail Kupwara.
Today, PSA was recommended against Zahoor vide Government order No-03/DMK/PSA of 2020 for anti-national and subversive activities and instigating violence.
This is the third PSA slapped against Zahoor in last two years.
After slapping fresh PSA, he was shifted to sub-jail in Anantnag district of South Kashmir.
