MP asks people to get united for Jammu’s cause

JAMMU, Mar 31: Member Parliament Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha constituency, Madan Lal Sharma, has asked the people of Jammu to get united for the cause of Jammu region.
Addressing a public meeting at Seri Pandita in Raipur Domana constituency today, the Congress MP said that Congress will play a major role in the formation of Government in the State as well at the Centre. While referring to the State, the Congress MP said that it was requirement of the Jammu people to fight unitedly for the cause of Jammu as no party other than Congress can share power as a major coalition partner, it becomes necessary for all people here to vote for Congress so that stake of Jammu in the Assembly is more and the decisions are taken in a manner that the interest of Jammu is watched.
Mr Sharma also made the people aware of the Centrally sponsored schemes and asked them to avail maximum benefit of these. On the occasion, Mr Sharma announced Rs 15 lakh for the construction of community hall at Seri Pandita Panchayat out of his Constituency Development Fund. He also assured the people that he will get their genuine demands resolved. On this occasion a BJP leader of the area and Sarpanch, Mr Kerni also joined Congress party along with his supporters.
