BFDCT vows to preserve historical monuments

JAMMU, Mar 13: Bahu Fort Development Committee Trust (BFDCT) held its first trustees meeting under the chairmanship of Rajeev Charak.
Advocate Ishant Gupta Vice Chairman-cum-Trustee commenced the meet with introductory session and said that now they have expanded the working of their Bahu Fort Development Committee (BFDC) by framing it as a trust and they will work on various social issues of Jammu Province.
He introduced all the trustees and their respective roles which includes Rajeev Charak as Chairman of trust, Advocate Varun Gupta as Legal Advisor, Raghav Mahajan as Secretary, Ishant Mahajan as President Duggar Sahayata Group, Ankush Khajuria as Treasurer and Raghunandan Singh Charak as Publicity Secretary.
He added that Duggar Sayata Group will be a unit of their trust and its objective is to help poor and orphan girls for their marriage. He also announced that they will launch membership drive from March 15, 2020 and further details will be shared on March 14, 2020 through medium of press conference or through press release and social media.
Rajeev Charak, who presided over the meeting, said that the trust has been constituted and they will work to preserve historical monuments. He appealed to the Archaeological Department to take a action against all those persons who have destroyed historical monuments and shrines.
Advocate Varun Gupta, Ishant Mahajan, Ankush Khajuria, Raghunandan Singh Charak and Raghav Mahajan also expressed their views.
