JAMMU, Mar 15: Gangyal police arrested a driver and his associate along with 30 grams of heroin.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Gangyal Police Station led by SHO Inspector Sunil Singh Jasrotia laid a naka near Kunjwani and intercepted a Scorpio car bearing registration number JK02BF-1185.
During checking, police team recovered 30 grams of heroin from the possession of the driver and his associate and arrested them.
The arrested persons were identified as Jatinder Singh alias Sippy, son of Ujagar Singh of Bhour Camp, Chatta Satwari District Jammu and Amrik Singh, son of Sat Pal Singh of Bandu Rakh, Kunjwani, District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 41/2020 under Section 8/21/22/29/NDPS Act has been registered at Gangyal Police Station and investigation started.
