SAMBA. Mar 16: District administration Samba, today sealed New Light Public Higher Secondary School a private educational institute for flouting the Government’s order regarding closure of all educational institutions in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir as a precaution against spread of COVID-19.
A team of Revenue and Police officers headed by Sub Divisional Magistrate, Vijaypur, C P Kotwal sealed the institution after it was found conducting class work in defiance of Government order. A detailed report was submitted to Deputy Commissioner, Jammu in this regard.
The other officers of the team who sealed the School included tehsildar Bari Brahmana , Qaiser Malik and SHO, Bari Brahmana, Rajesh Jasrotia. The district administration also warned the educational institutions not to flout the Government directives issued from time to time otherwise strict action under the law will be taken against them.
