JAMMU, Mar 17: The Department of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs in Jammu and Kashmir today ordered engagement of Standing Counsels for Subordinate Court in the Union Territory of J&K.
For Jammu district, Adarsh Bhagat, Bhanu Jasrotia and Jamrod Singh have been engaged as Government Advocates while Divya Ojaswi and Nisha Kangotra have been engaged as Assistant counsel.
For Srinagar District, Sajad Ashraf Mir, Rais Din Gaine and Akeel Ahmad Pard have been engaged as Government Advocates while Insha Rashid and Nida Banday have been engaged as Assistant Counsel.
For other districts, Adil Shafi Rangrez has been engaged for Doda, Rashi Devi for Reasi, Navneet Gupta for Udhampur, Rajesh Sharma for Kishtwar, Ranjeet Singh Balwal for Ramban, Bhupinder Singh Charak for Samba, Rajesh Sharma for Rajouri, Mukhtar Ahmed for Poonch, Nidhi Suman for Kathua, Arshad Hussain Baba for Kulgam, Zubair Ahmad Wani for Kupwara, Abdul Majid Rather for Baramulla, Masood Ahmad Bhat for Bandipora and Jahangir Ahmad Khan for Shopian.
The Director Litigation, Jammu and Kashmir shall allocate the departments amongst these Standing counsels for districts of Jammu and Srinagar.
