RAJOURI, Mar 17: The police foiled a bid of smuggling bovine animals in Sunderbani area of Rajouri and seized two vehicles loaded with cattle today.
Official sources said that police team Sunderbani, intercepted two Tata load carriers today at 7.15 am from Breri on Sunderbani – Nowshera road. While chasing the vehicles, the drivers escaped leaving behind vehicles.
14 bovine animals were seized from the vehicles which later brought to Sunderbani along with vehicles having no registration plates. Drivers of the vehicles escaped giving slip to cops. One cattle was found dead in the vehicle. The police registered a case and started investigation.
